Here are two quick tips from Taylor with Nuts & Bolts Speed Training (a great PowerPoint resource via YouTude). Taylor’s PowerPoint Tips are always clear, quick, and entertaining (especially compared to your average YouTube training video).
Taylor presents four quick tips in this four minute video but I want to mention to you the two that I think are most useful.
- My tip #1 (Taylor’s tip #3): Break Bullets into SmartArt.
- My tip #2 (Taylor’s tip #2): Break SmartArt into individual elements.
My tip #1 (Taylor’s tip #3): Break Bullets into SmartArt. By now you likely know that bullets are bad, and SmartArt is better. This tip explains how to convert any list of bullets into SmartArt with NO re-typing. If you can move your presentations from bullets to SmartArt, you are moving in the right direction!!
My tip #2 (Taylor’s tip #2): Break SmartArt into individual elements. If you work with SmartArt a lot, you likely know that making modifications to individual elements with your SmartArt can be a challenge. For example, maybe you want to animate individual elements of your SmartArt, or maybe you want to re-size specific elements of your SmartArt to add meaning. This tip explains how to convert any SmartArt into individual elements with NO re-typing.
Thanks Taylor for the quick tips.
