This is a three part article based research and on evidence from organisations that shows today’s learners are different. For many organisations there is a real need to address the characteristics of the changing workforce. It is no longer possible to think workers have the same approach to life, work, or learning as their bosses.
- Part One looks at what the research tells us about the characteristics of today’s learners (aka Learners 2.0), and how they best learn.
- Part Two reports on interviews with eLearning Guild members on how they perceive learners today, and how they are addressing their needs.
- Part Three looks at the importance for learning and development professionals to experience being a Learner 2.0 in order to advise on appropriate new learning approaches.

As I was on a tight time frame in the museum, I didn’t take time to compare the English and Chinese versions. From my experience with People’s Daily, and other propaganda organs, the English and Chinese are usually fairly close.

In S’pore, all subjects are taught in Eng except for lang subjects such as Chn,Malay,Tamil, Japanese,French, German etc which are taken as another compulsory or elective lang here. (students here typically take 2-3 languages in schools).So while I’m not used to his localised mandarin, I can understand the few chinese words on the board. eg. è‹¥=if in eng.I’m just curious, assuming u do not know Chinese,y did yr sch send u on xchg prog there where lessons r still mostly conducted in chn

I never had knowledge about cluster headache’s either. I thought nausea and vomiting were only related to migraine headaches, thanks for the information. I guess it does make sense that headaches are diseases of the nervous system. Headaches result from inflammation of muscles in the head, eyes, and neck.
